You don't have a car?
The way I usually get around this question is with the cringe-worthy phrase "car-free" - i guess cause the whole "woah, your lifestyle has a buzz word" is enough to compensate for my perceived lack of mobility.
Well, I've decided to now say "i don't have a car, do you?" like they're the ones doing something weird.
After all, paying tens of thousands of dollars to then pay thousands of dollars just to create a lifestyle that costs taxpayers billions of dollars to facilitate and then compensate for - does seem pretty weird.
However, i have learned not to say "i don't drive" 'cause that sounds like i have a DUI.
