Design Off!
Myself and one-time poster to TA! Matt held our first ever 5 minute design off.
Here was the source:
It's the new logo for the University of Minnesota College of Design. It's pretty terrible. (See it in action. note: it changes colors) So we set off to redesign it with 3 rules. you must use the circle and a more-or-less traditional typeface, and do it in 5 minutes.

UPDATE! Eric has submitted the following design which makes me look like an aspiring porn star that hasn't moved past the missionary position.
